I am very passionate about healthy living, not only for us but for the planet.

We live in an abundant world of natural resources made by nature to provide us with everything we need to sustain a healthy lifestyle, so why do we spend so much money on synthetic, man made products?

There is so much on offer in nature to maintain a healthy lifestyle and in turn preserve our wonderful planet.

Synthetic, man made products contain many chemicals and synthetic compounds that are not natural to the human body and we wonder why our bodies retaliate in many different ways. A vast majority of sicknesses can be attributed to the body’s absorption of these chemicals.

Detox programs are dramatically on the rise as people are realising that the toxins stored in their bodies are not a healthy way to live. Yes, people choose Detox programs to lose weight but equally they are used to give our bodies a chance to rejuvenate.

When we are born our bodies are in a near perfect state and over time we inadvertently put stress and strain on our bodies from the foods we eat, products we use in the home and the lifestyle choices we make.

We can change this by changing the products we use and the foods we eat. Our grocery stores now have a fantastic range of ‘earth friendly’ and ‘people friendly’ products – yes they are a little more expensive but in the long run you will be doing yourself, your body and the planet a favour. Alternatively you can make many of these products at home from your very own kitchen pantry. There are many, many books on the market with countless recipes to clean your home the natural wayNatural, healthy food and natural, healthy products lead to Natural Healthy Living.

Healthy Mind

In conjunction with living a healthy, natural lifestyle we also need to have our minds in right place and with all the pressures that comes with everday living it's easy for your mind to become out of tune creating stress and anxiety.

Being a fulltime working mother there are days where I feel like I am losing the plot, what with getting children ready for school, fighting with traffic to get to work on time, having a hectic day at work then to return home to have it start all over again.

Meditation is a wonderful way to let the day's hassles melt away. You go to bed feeling relaxed and wake up rejuvenated ready for another day.

Keeping a positive frame of mind is also extremely important especially when things feel as though they're getting the better of you. The mind is the most amazing piece of work so keep oiled.
